"If you are a minority or have an accent when you speak, you will be humiliated in this place. I am a teacher who has an accent. On my way to work, I stopped to get a sandwich. The staff there were already mocking another customer who, the staff were saying, spoke little English. They kept making fun of him. I approached the cashier and asked him if they had sandwiches. He started to mock my accent. He pretended that he could not understand me. A female worker came and also pretended not to understand me. A man cashing out in the back also started laughing at me. Of course, I defended myself and called them ignorant and so on... These ignorant people, however, are not the ones to blame. For these ignorant people to be so blatant about their racism, management or owners must be involved. I think the man cashing out in the back was like a supervisor or manager. Shame on you!"
