"I recently had such a negative experience with Dr. Kuwahsra's staff (office manager, receptionist) and am so very frustrated that I'm in the process of looking for another gynecologist. Not only are they rude, they are inept as employees. Dr. Kuwahara has been a good doctor so far, but her staff needs to be replaced with a competent one. I am a Total/Permanent Veteran. The office manager messed up my Veterans Affairs (VA) coverage, resulting in the lab attempting to charge me for their services. Additionally, the office manager had me running around town trying to figure out how to get the VA to pay for my Rx, when they already had the instructions for how to process Veteran patients Rx's. The doctor's office is supposed to process Veterans Rx's via the Honolulu VA, but for some reason she pretended not to know this. If she wasn't pretending, and just didn't want to do her job, this means she's even more inept, as well as lazy as a manager and employee. Patients or potential patients need to be wary of this staff's processes regarding their insurance coverage, and likely anything else they process."
