"Extremely high volume before children’s shows where my apple watch was registering dangerous sound levels. I’ve asked this to be adjusted multiple times and we still have to bring ear plugs. It’s inconsistent. Also, I brought water and paid $10.50 for large popcorn and took out my water bottle to get to hand sanitizer after signing for me credit card. They said I can’t bring in my “flask.” I said it’s water you can open it. Then he said “no metal.” Fine. Can I please have a paper cup to put my water in? “No, it’s inventory.” Really? After a $10.50 popcorn? I can’t get a paper cup? Ridiculous and no aloha. I’m sure it’s not the employee’s fault but the company should take their corporate policies that nickel and dime customers already paying good money out of Hawai’i."

"This is the best cinema on the west side of the Big Island. I can safely say that, as it is now the ONLY CINEMA ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE BIG ISLAND. I bring my noise-cancelling headphones with me when I go, as frequently the sound is extremely loud, and wearing them brings the volume down to normal. I also dress in layers, as the air-conditioning is often very cold. There is no IMAX. The seats are comfortable. There are 15 to 20 minutes of commercials (previews & promos of sodas & popcorn & candy) prior to each show. If the stated time is 1515 (3:15 pm) - you won't miss the main feature if you're seated by 1530 (3:30 pm)."

"This is my first time in a movie theater since 2020 and I have to say I REALLY missed going out to see a good movie on the big screen. This has become the only modern movie theater for the Kona area, the next closest is about 30 miles to the North. The staff were professionally kind and pleasant, and went out of THEIR way to bring my cooked food to me in the theater! The seats are the traditional movie theater seats, so was very nostalgic for me! EVERYTHING was extremely CLEAN and organized! Ticket prices are average and up with the times but not as expensive as some theaters I have visited that were no where near as cool do to A/C, clean, professional, and accommodating. The concessions have a wonderful selection and are priced with the times… this IS a business and they have to make money to stay open so I cannot be upset that the personal pizza is 8$. If you are looking for a fun occasion… this theater is definitely up for the occasion! I think, if there are any movies I l consider worth watching being shown, I will be there on the Holidays too! This place is THAT kind of special!"

"Friendly staff, fast service, comfortable seats, clean theaters, restrooms, etc. didn’t see any flaws in this theater! I would definitely recommend it and I’d love to come back Edit: I also really liked that there wasn’t assigned seating, sometimes that can just create problems that don’t even need to be there"
