"Not an over done environment, good street views, quiet and cozy. The calamari is a nice blend of well chosen calamari base and a great marinade that is not hidden behind excessive breading. "I don’t know where to start! When I say the owner/Chef Steve is beyond amazing! He gave me the best experience I have ever had at a steakhouse! Every year I go to a steakhouse for my birthday, and this year I happen to be in Hawaii and wanted to find a steakhouse, but wasn’t expecting to have something this amazing. Steve showed us so much and taught us so many things about steak and the cut. The food was beyond amazing. I sliced the steak with a butter knife! Yes, I said a butter knife! I was very skeptical, but the cut was so amazing. It slid right through with less than three cuts!! Steve does not season the meat because the cut is so amazing! He provides three choices of salts if you choose, but it doesn’t need it! The music is amazing. The ambience is amazing. I have never had a menu where everything that I tasted, was absolutely amazing! I am sad that I will not have this food when I return home but now I have a reason to return to Hawaii! This is a must and when I say a must it’s a must try! Also, Lisa has the best personality ever! She is so fun, and will do nothing, but add to the experience! If you don’t try this steakhouse, you’re missing out on a special part of Hawaii! Oh and the pressed coffee is perfect!"

"Surf & turf baby! You’re looking at 2lbs. of snow crab served with a 16oz. bone-in ribeye that was aged for 30 days. I enjoyed this amazing spread my first night in Hawaii and it was enough food for a party of two. The steak was perfectly cooked (medium) and served with three different salts to dip it in - wasabi, red wine & rosemary, and yuzu. Y’all know I love a good steak and salt pairing, so that was a nice bonus to the dish. The crab legs were bountiful and bought fresh from the market that week. We were served by the owner, Steve, and he was funny and knowledgeable about everything. His homemade mango salsa was a perfect blend of sweet & spicy. Love the vibe of this place and I highly recommend you check out this steakhouse whenever you’re in the Waikiki area!"

"This gem was quiet tonight, but I suspect it will fill up as people learn about it. Steve, the owner, explained how he ages his steaks and why he does not use butter or salt and pepper while cooking. He provides simply great steaks. Our steak came with a large house salad and his specialty salts. We ordered crab cakes as our appetizer, and the only filling was crab. We also enjoyed Brussel sprouts and mushrooms - both very good. We split a 20 oz aged porterhouse, and it was excellent."

"I go to Japan every year and what I love is the food and service in the local restaurants. This restaurant has the family, personal atmosphere feel I love. I had the homemade crab cake with papaya salsa which compliment very well. Then I had the filet and lobster dinner. It was a very sweet rock lobster and very tender, cooked to perfection filet. This was a fabulous way to end a wonderful day!"
