I did a private for each child and me and my wife did a semi-private. We've been to Maui before and have done multiple activities and this topped them all. The whole family wants to do it again. "I had an amazing day learning to surf with Kat at Maui Surf Clinics. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was full of smiles and aloha and it got better once the lesson began. Kat is an amazing instructor and she did an awesome job of explaining surf technique so I could understand and apply it in the water. It was my goal to catch one wave before the lesson, but thanks to Kat's guidance I stood up on my first shot and was able to ride a bunch of waves during our session. Kat was encouraging the whole time. I learned how to paddle to catch thew aves myself and even how to turn. Whats more, Kat brought her GoPro and captured some videos and photos of me riding my first waves. The surfing was so fun and I felt really successful. Now I'm hooked on surfing and can't wait to keep learning."
