"I went to see him once at his office in Kailua and I was actually late because when I first opened the door I thought I had gone into a storage closet. The office is stacked from floor to ceiling with stuff, just like that new show hoarders. You have to turn sideways to go down the hallway that is stacked with books from floor to ceiling and then when you see him he is sitting in one of only 2 spaces that are clutter free. The other is the couch which has stuff on the backing and armrests. Every available floor space aside from the little area you are given to walk is stacked with stuff. It is like an ebay inventory storage unit. Piles of Beenie babies, dream catchers, puzzles, stuffed animals, baseballs and sports stuff, boxes, books, random collectibles, you name it and nothing appropriate for an office. My first thought was, do you live here or did your wife kick you out and you moved a 3 bedroom house into your office? It was really strange because on the phone he seemed perfect for what I needed, and even during our meeting he seemed fine but to me honest I was so distracted by the clutter I couldn't wait to get out of there and I had to find someone else. He even asked if I was going to have trouble talking to him as I was so distracted at the mess. I am not OCD or anything but man it was bad. My suggestion Dr. Wagner, is you really need to clean up your office. If you are having patients show up once and never come back, I can tell you that is why. I didn't want to hurt your feelings, but I need to know I am seeing someone who is functional and that space does is not representative of a functioning Psychologist. An salvation army store maybe. But not a doctors office."
