"Totally love this place!! The nurses, doctors and staff members are the best! It's a fairly new facility, they have an urgent care clinic, laboratory, My whole family goes there."
"Slipped on a boat and cut my elbow. They had me in and out quickly with a few stitches. I don’t have insurance and was worried about being overcharged. They were fair. I’m very happy with my visit. All health care providers should be like this. Quality care and fair prices. Way to go!"
"Came in for a skin condition. Dr. Malia Lee was nice, seemed very caring. She addressed my concern, and left the room for me to get changed into a gown for an examination and told me she would come back. I didn’t think the examination was necessary, I just wanted to do testing, the nurse and medical assistant said I could swab myself, which I agreed to, but asked if I could still see Dr. Lee again. They told me “is there a message I can pass on” and from there I already knew they weren’t going to let me see her again. I said that I would like to be treated empirically for what I thought I had. The medical assistant and nurse both talk to each other outside the room and they come back and say “you’ll get your results and depending on it, we’ll treat you from there”. They did not even consult my doctor and made the medical decision themselves because it seemed like they were busy and needed the room for someone else. I get it, urgent care is like the speed dating of health care, but I waited for 2 hours just to be seen for 5 minutes. What’s worse is the medical assistant and nurse were trying to get me out of there when I still had concerns for my health. I work in healthcare myself and always try to do my best when it comes to patient care…. If someone tells you that they want to speak to their doctor again, it’s because they genuinely are concerned for their health, which I was, and was left with a condition that could’ve been easily treated. Maybe the doctor would’ve said the same thing as the nurse and medical assistant that she would treat me only after knowing the results, but what I had was pretty obvious and I’m sure Dr. Lee would’ve considered treating empirically, but I’ll never know since I never had that chance to speak with her again that day. Literally felt like I was being kicked out."
"Dr. Ioane was very friendly and sociable while being thorough in asking about my symptoms. Was able to get lab work right away and scheduling a follow up appointment was a breeze. They are pretty booked up but the receptionist was still able to schedule me an appointment two weeks out. The lab technicians and nurse were also great. This was one of the most pristine medical facilities I’ve seen. Overall a very enjoyable visit."
"COVID Testing Experience: Located right down the road between Wholefoods and L&L BBQ. As with all urgent care there will be a long wait. If you are going for COVID testing, note that they will have you wait outside. There is a bench on the sidewalk; however, you will be outside in the elements. It is understandable to separate from others....but...if you are waiting in the hot grilling sun be prepared to be uncomfortable. If you are have symptoms be prepared to be even more uncomfortable. The wait was about 2 hours before se got in. After getting the "rapid" test, the dr will speak with you but there are so much unanswered questions. Kind of got the basics, was told will check what's next be right back. Nurse came back with our discharge papers and didn't really answer the questions. Overall staff is nice. Oh well...just glad to have it over with."
