Palms at Wailea Maui

"We had a second floor 2BR overlooking the pool and the ocean. We really enjoyed the place, well kept, lots of things to do nearby, a nice hot tub and pool. We would stay here again."

"Love The Palms at Wailea! Stayed in unit 1105. All the amenities we needed but the best thing about this unit is the beautiful wrap around deck with a view of the ocean and a lovely view of the grounds for our breakfasts and dinners. We spent time every day watching whales jump and play and the stunning sunsets. The location is great. Just a quick 10 minute walk to Keawakapu Beach and quick drives to many other beaches. We had a selection of packable beach chairs that we used every day. The Palms is minutes away from all the restaurants and shopping in Kihei or Wailea. Take your pick. We prepped most of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfy there were lots of extra linens. We enjoyed a 40 minute morning walk each day that looped around the neighborhood! I would recommend this property"

"Room #104..tiny bugs throughout the whole kitchen(counters, pantry, drawers..even a sealed dishwasher) ,carpets very dirty,deck full of bird poop(on ledges ,bbq and furniture), broken floor tiles throughout, built in microwave broken & left in spot, toilets are hard to flush..very dated and in need of some updates and repairs. I think its safe to say this unit is stuck in 1990, when it was originally built.No phone in the unit,for visitors outside the USA that put their phones in airplane mode this is very inconvenient and difficult to communicate with resort before & after hours. Front desk closes at 5pm local time and very unresponsive to emails as communication method. Very limited toilet paper, dish soap , garbage bags, dishwasher tabs.. ie we received 3 tabs for our 10 day stay. Air conditioning is only turned on in the master bedroom, if you want it in other rooms you must pay for that. Very expensive cleaning fee on top of the price you pay for the condo rental. The grounds are beautifully manicured.The staff are very friendly. The location is fairly central."

"Spacious and clean condo. Views from units down the hill are limited. A bit far to walk with beach chairs to the beach. Pool are not very large. Privacy curtains in mbr bath limited. Overall a nice property"

"Don't check into condo #1002 ! It's infested with tiny ants (that are hard to see), that's why we bought a can of ant spray. First you'll see them near the coffee pot. They are also surrounded at the corner of the patio and they also come in from under the master bathroom window. Also, all the knives here are super dull and need to go in the trash can! It takes 5-10 minutes to be able to slice up one potato. The coffee cups are pretty limited and will only last 1 morning for a family. The grill doesn't have any propane to cook with. When someone is on vacation, they don't want to go to store for propane. Also, there is one girl at the front desk that is quite rude and will laugh at your questions. Expensive and unreasonable cleaning fees here, and we left the place quite clean. The place has super thin blankets as well. I would expect a bit better for the price we paid. Good stay otherwise."
