"My husband and I were driving from Portland back to the Central Valley and I decided that I wanted to stop at all of the small luxury yarn stores on the way to help support them, and local yarn makers/dyers, during COVID-19. The Knitting Nest was accepting customers by appointment only. Lauren quickly responded to my email and I was able to come in the next day. The store is absolutely adorable. There is a large selection of luxury yarns. I bought a handful of the most absolutely gorgeous hand dyed silk yarns for a comparable price. Lauren was extremely helpful and kind throughout. I will definitely return when the Sierra Nevada Yarn Crawl meets again."

Prices are very reasonable, and she has such a wide selection, you’ll find what you need to fit your project and fiber. It’s a little daunting to drive up into Heavenly Resort area for the first time, but the views are spectacular, and well worth the drive!
