"The atmosphere is fine, but their customer service isn’t good. Especially when you wait a half hour to talk with a representative on the phone."

"I currently see a few providers within the clinic. Today Lena called (front desk) and proceeded to yell at me stating that I called last week regarding my pregnancy and wanted to make sure my insurance put in a referral. She wouldn’t let me speak, continuously cut me off, and when I asked to speak to her supervisor she told me she’d have her call me back yet refused to give me her (Lena’s) name and then hung up on me. I only got her name from the manager who called me back. I love Dr Andaya and Dr Bunn, this is not a reflection of either of those individuals. However, Lena was SOO incredibly rude and unprofessional. She didn’t give me an opportunity to speak and literally left me in tears. What I wanted to explain to her was that I received a referral to another Dr in a different specialty, prior to scheduling with that Dr I wanted to ensure my insurance provided authorization for that new Dr since my existing referrals and associated authorizations would not cover it. Rather than hearing me, she yelled at me. I cried after speaking with her. The manager called me back and was very sweet, but after my experience with Lena I am considering taking my care elsewhere even though I do love the physicians I see."

"Don't go to their optical department. They don't explain the charges. They don't give you a breakdown on what you're paying for. When asked to have the manager call me to explain what the charges are, she never does. They'll keep you in limbo. Go buy your eye glasses somewhere else."

"I have had multiple dermatology visits at Straub Medical Center Pearl Ridge and each visit went smooth from the check in to the Doctors visit. Facility was spotlessly clean. The waiting areas were air conditioned to a comfortable level with plenty of space. There is ample parking behind the facility. Across the street is Pearl Ridge shopping center which is also convenient."

"I come here primarily for the lab and blood work but I've utilized the facility for PT as well. Staff has always been friendly and helpful, PT department was good and helpful. The lab has never let me down , I've never waited with the exception of this morning,but I got there before they opened and there were others that checked in before me. Building is a little dated and could use some sprucing up but overall it serves it's purpose well."
