"Employees are clueless and rude They keep mushroom spawn outside in the heat. They mix up tomatoe plants with lettuce and peppers, and cannot help you id plants. They have a horrible selection of soil, all miracle grow or some "nature brand" that consists of decomposed wood not suitable for all plants. Go to a local nursery if you seek knowledge or are looking for your best option. Update... Just went city mill and had all expectations met"
"This nursery has a pretty good selection of exotic house plants. Overwhelmingly, ficus lyrata was found everywhere. There is a section on the walls where it looks like the beat up version of them (assumingly the older batch). It seems as though some of their ficus lyrata's are over-watered while some are dehydrated. They do have a good collection of healthy burgundy ficus elastica's. They were out of stock of ANY potting soil. Guessing everyone and their mom is gardening during this COVID lockdown. This home depot nursery is a lot bigger than the one in Pearl City. Choose wisely :)"
"Brisk business at Kapolei Home Depot today (9/3/17) It seemed that each associate (asked 4 for help) was helping at least three other people, at once. After approximately 20 minutes of fruitless wandering trying to locate a pole saw, I decided to wait in the customer service line as I watched the number available in stock tick down. Just as I was beginning to get frustrated, the first young man. (I am so sad that I did not get his name, he was the guy juggling 5 or so customers in lawn and garden tools around 4pm) that I asked for help saw me in line and came to make sure I found my item. He located and brought down the item for me to purchase. Thank you for keeping track !"
"On March 9th I visited the garden center at Home Depot. My husband & I recently moved into our home and we were trying to get our backyard feeling a little more like home with some plants. I was truly thankful for the help I received by Laz. He went above and beyond to ensure I found everything I was looking for, he was so helpful, had a lot of patience answering all my questions, and was able to find the information I needed about what to add to my soil to make it more plant friendly. I was very thankful for all his help and will be sure to shop again at Home Depot for my backyard needs."
"Home Depot does not give rain checks. They were out of MG soil on sale so I asked the cashier for a rain check and was told that they do not give rain checks. Disappointing..."
