"Brittany teaches a great class! Tillie and I learned so much and we were able to bring Tillie's understanding up a few notches. The class was fun, not stressful and the ease of asking questions was awesome! I would recommend this class for anyone that is looking to bring their pack member up to the next level of leash training! Can't wait for the Pack Walks to work on what we have learned in another environment! Thank you Brittany!"
"Constellation Canine is an amazing woman-owned company ran by an authentic, educated and talented dog trainer. Our (Covid) puppy is a high energy mutt that is VERY stubborn and too intelligent for his own good. Constellation Canine taught both our dog, and us as his humans, to establish proper boundaries and each of us to follow commands and ques by both parties. Our relationship with our dog has improved greatly since our time working with Brittany at Constellation Canine, and we strongly recommend reaching out to the company if you are looking for a structured, positive reinforcement approach to training your family dog. Good luck! Dog ownership is the best! And thank you again Brittany for having such a positive impact on our family."
"Brittany is a wonderful trainer with a caring personality. I had three trainers quit on my husky. I found Constellation Canine and with Brittany’s help we finally were able to work through my husky’s behavior. I was fortunate to work with her one on one in California, then again in NC over video chat when I moved. I am great full to have found her and look forward to working with her again with future dogs. 10/10 recommend"
"We have a large breed Airedale that we got as a pup and trained with Constellation Canine (Brittney). Airedales are not an easy breed to train. We were impressed with all the help and knowledge we got from Brittney. It is just as important for the dog owner to understand everything as it is the dog. And every dog is different. She goes into detail about anything and everything pertaining to the issues you are experiencing with your dog. And she sure knows a lot! It was hard to pull the trigger on spending a chunk of money on training but, it is well worth it! Because if you dont invest in your dog, who will? And if you dont get results, it is likely the lack of work and effort you as an owner have put into. If you do all that is taught, you and your dog will succeed. Because it takes good effort to get good results. I recommend Constellation Canine. And, her dog socials, pack walks and even Easter egg hunts, are wonderful for the dogs! They absolutely love it!"
"BEWARE! We have been going through a nightmare and regret making this call. The advertising and promises made are not what they seem. We paid for a 6-month training package and after 19 days we had a mutual termination with zero money refunded. During our $475 assessment meeting, my son (his dog), my husband, and I all sat down and met with the trainer. We reiterated like we had done several times over the phone, that our rescue had resource guarding and food aggression but only when you got near his bowl. She convinced us that she was well trained and would not have any issues dealing with these behaviors. I paid $1500 upfront and was asked to pay more after only being there 19 days. It became about the money. We were already $2,500 in at this point and so far we had not had one training session. We were also promised "training" material that was supposed to be on an exclusive FB member-only group. You only have access after you pay. I logged in only to see photos of dogs that she had trained in the past or current dogs. Nothing to do with training tools or lessons. A few weeks in we were asked to come and pick up our dog because they had planned a trip to San Diego. I had not been notified before starting our sessions, or I would have waited. My son had to leave college and drive 4 hours to pick him up. He showed up a few hours early and the trainer was upset. My son saw his dog in a small kennel. Something I mentioned to her several times that he was not comfortable being locked up after so many. years of abuse from previous owners. It became apparent that he had been in there for hours. When my son took him outside he had to go to the bathroom and peed for 45 seconds straight. He also had 2 full bowel movements. My son called me upset and angry. She told me she was busy with visitors and was hiking with friends. Long story short.....after 19 days we had mutually agreed to terminate the contract. She did not know how to handle a dog with the issues we told her about over and over. We have been asking for some of our money back as we were promised and have had no response. During the termination of the contract, she sat us down to discuss her recommendation, which was to put our dog down! My son suffers from anxiety and depression so when he found out that was her assessment of his dog, it sent him over the edge. She was well informed from the beginning that this dog meant everything to my son and I detailed that he suffered from anxiety and depression and his dog made him feel safe. If she felt that she could not handle him, I asked her to let us know before beginning the training. She kept telling us she was fully trained. We are now having to take legal action and add more stress to our lives. We have yet to see any refunds or responses. Meanwhile, Ruger is living his best life and recovering from his trauma. He use to love car rides but now we have a hard time getting him into a car, and suffers from separation anxiety. Beware the photos show a very vicious dog! ;} He will live a healthy long life as long as he is with us. He continues to thrive and is doing great! Once we found a professional trainer."
