"The Nordic Ski Center at the community college maintains about 5 miles of cross-country trails. It can be accessed from several points, but I'd suggest parking between the library and the physical education building. It's pretty easy, even for beginners (I fell down a few times, but that only speaks to my own inadequacy). The trails by Trout Creek are beautiful. You can even blaze your own trail without too much trouble. The terrain is rather forgiving."
