"Great place to hike. The hardest part is climbing up from the parking area to where the tunnels are. Other than that, it's a pretty flat hike."
"Bring layers and food/water and a flashlight, it's a very rewarding hike with lots of ground to cover and views to take in. Lots of graffiti too if you're into that, the insides and 'roofs' of the tunnels are prime real estate for elaborate pieces. I've only been once, but it's a good enough hike that I see myself returning on many more occasions."
"Beautiful spot for a hike and taking photos! Definitely would recommend bringing a flashlight/lantern/headlamp and a companion. We went in early summer when the snow was still melting so the tunnels were quite flooded. From the parking lot to the end of the main tunnels is 2.5 miles (5 round trip) over level gravel with beautiful views in between tunnels. If you plan to bring pets or children please be cautious of broken glass, rusty metal bits, and wildlife—we saw a bear after the last tunnel! Safe travels!"
"Super cool experience! A hidden gem we have seen from the freeway for years, and didn't realize was even there. I highly recommend this trail. Wear good solid shoes or boots as the tunnels are filled with gravel. And bring a flashlight so you can enjoy the graffiti. Great views."
"This is my second time here and it’s just a pretty cool hike. I do enjoy quality graffiti art and when you get further down on the hike you can find some decent murals. It can get a little chilly in the tunnels so layer appropriately if you get cold easily."
