Reviews of Thousand Trails Las Vegas
"Less than desirable location but I was safe within the walls. Would NOT walk around the outside perimeter. The cabin was clean but the AC struggled. Water was an ongoing problem as in pipes breaking in the campground. Three water interruptions in 7 days is unacceptable. Could be avoided with upgrades or better maintained. I have already booked another stay so will return but probably not again."
"Seems much cleaner than last visit People are friendly always see security driving by. Seen several homeless outside the park. Guess they're everywhere, can't avoid it. But we feel safe. One thing, it could use another inclosed dog park"
"The staff is friendly. Accept for the manager. She is not a very pleasant person and talks as if she is better than you. But that doesn't start until after you pay. If you still think you want to stay here. Here is some more to consider. We in las vegas get heavy rain storms from time to time. Flooding in this park will happen. But the manager won't address the drainage problem. Has never cleared the debris from the drainage trench. The second flashflood in the park the Water was around four feet high and flood water here isn't just water. This area is heavily populated by the homeless. And where do you think they relive themselves? All kinds of things float in and around your campsite. Also the power is not very reliable so unless you have a generator you'll be on standby. The water gets shut off for whatever reason more than I believe to be reasonable. If you still want to stay here bring plenty of cables and locks. Two golf carts were stolen in one night. E- bicycles have gone missing a generator and anything left in unlocked vehicles. To help with theft the manager had the security fencing taken down along the back wall. More than 9 members have been evicted with no reason given only an email from the regional manager listing whatever rule they allegedly broke all fabricated from the manager. My first interaction with the new manager i was treated like a second class POS. At the end of this first contact I said you are just not a very nice person. To days later i got an email of the rules she said I broke and a 30 day membership suspension. I've since email member services and said to cancel my membership. Because I will never stay at any thousand trails ever again. There are several others who feel the same way. I hope this helps you not to have a horrible vages trip. There's plenty of other parks in and around here. Good luck and safe travels God bless."
"The park is well taken care of. It is nice although the sites are small. The staff were friendly and helpful. They try hard to help out. The issues with the park are due to location. Located under a major flight path and on Boulder Hiway means that there is no lack of noise. The neighborhood is not the best, although we felt safe inside the park itself. If the noise doesn't bother you, the park itself is very nice."
"This RV park has small sites and narrow streets, but has a nice dog walk area. Be sure to unhook your toad at the gate because there is not a lot of street space. There are a few long term residents that have a neighborhood watch, and keep the dog pen maintained. The park manager is rather cold, and could not explain why the pool had been closed for a month, but the staff is friendly."
