Cleaver- Butchered Meats, Seafood & Classic Cocktails

"We came to Cleaver prior to our U2 show at The Sphere, which we learned was walking distance from the restaurant. First impressions are a bit underwhelming because the restaurant is in the back of a strip shopping center behind an office park and you meander through looking for the entrance. We had a 6 pm reservation and were walked through the restaurant passed several rooms to a back room that was filled with tables, no booths and not much of a steak house feel. Getting past that, we were pleased to learn that many items on the menu were "happy hour" priced from 6-8, including some steaks. Wine list prices runs a bit high, but you are still in Vegas. That said, the prices are so much lower than the strip and the food is so good. We had some great cocktails, the calamari starter was delicious, chopped salad was a delight and the steaks were also on point, especially the ribeye I ate. Sides were large enough to share and I recommend the creamy garlic mashed potatoes. Service was A+ as well. Side note, bathrooms are unusually small for such a large restaurant and do yourself a favor and advocate for a good table."

"Reserved a table prior to a concert at the Sphere. Easy walking distance (10 mins) after dinner to head over to the show. Great cocktails, engaging server, reasonable prices, and great food. Weird definitely ready here again and found it was great value for a nice meal in Vegas. Steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were perfect for sharing."

"The entire evening was amazing. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was fantastic. We got the porterhouse for two. Spicy mussels. Spinach and potatoes. This meal and dinning experience were a highlight of our trip. I’d highly recommend grabbing dinner here. You can save money by ordering meals off of the happy hour menu. Many regular steaks and meals are able to be purchased at a super discount at happy hour!"

"Came on Valentine's Day for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. They were well staffed and able to accommodate the crowd that evening. They had a full staff of hostesses, servers, assistant servers, bussers, and a floor manager. The place stayed looking clean, and my water was constantly filled. The atmosphere was nice. They had warm lighting from chandeliers. It was dim to set the mood, but wasn't dim enough that you were struggling to look around. They had "fun" dance music in the background. It wasn't loud enough to drown out conversations, which was great. As far as the food goes, my wife and I had the Caesar salad, Porterhouse Steak for 2 with truffle butter, blue cheese spinach and creamy garlic mash potatoes. We would get the salad and steaks again, they were great. We wouldn't get the blue cheese spinach again, but that was just because the taste was too strong for us (we don't normally get blue cheese). The garlic mash potatoes were okay, it could've used more flavor; either through more garlic, more butter, or more seasoning. Overall though, we had a great time and would come back for Valentine's Day or any special occasion."

"We enjoyed the night out and this was our first time coming here to Cleaver. We started at the bar and the cocktails were very good as well as the bartender. This place is very deceiving in size. Our waiter Sam was very good as well as the other helpers. The food was excellent! We had the Ribeye steak, Chilean bass and their Shrimp dish. For dessert, we had the Sticky toffee and a Pearl diver drink. Sam brought us all a complimentary glass of champagne at the end of our meal. It was a great experience. I highly recommend it. We were there fairly early in the evening so we were able to take advantage of their happy hour prices on the food. Discount prices with the same size servings."
