Royal Inn

"WOW!! And WOW! Again. I’m moving from California to Washington DC and stopped in Lovelock for my first night of rest. I randomly picked this motel, and was so pleasantly surprised beyond belief. The room is exceptionally clean and very well appointed. It is also very large for a motel room. The first thing I wanted to do upon check in, was get a shower and a hot bath. The bathtub is long enough for therapeutic soaking I need for my legs. I struggle to walk. Although I didn’t sleep much the first night, the bed was very comfortable. I can say without reservation this was the best motel under $100 I have ever stayed at anywhere in my life or in this country. I also fell in love with the town its amenities and the goals that I’ve seen they wish to incorporate here."

"Appearances can be deceiving! Surprisingly nicer than you might expect for a motel right next to a little casino. Kitchenette (fridge/microwave/stovetop & minimum cookware, plus place settings), huge tv, clean bathroom, and a small dining table & chairs. There's a Safeway nearby, too. P. S. I LOST MY WEDDING RING - THEY FOUND IT AND PROMISED TO SEND IT BACK TO ME. "

"Clean room, but really loud plumbing. Upstairs unit woke us all up when they took a shower at 5am... Noise outside was unpleasant - but it was a Fri night so... What are you gonna do?"

"We the 4 of us road our bikes all day and didn't make a reservation here. But we stopped there and we were very happy with the rooms and the service. We will stay there again some day."

"Rooms are VERY spacious. Didn't realize the room would have a kitchenette with a full size fridge -- very convenient with a grocery store nearby! Not the most modern but things were clean. There is also a BBQ area with grills and adjacent canopy so you can cook that way if you'd rather. It's definitely no luxury motel despite the "royal" name but for a stop on a road trip it's fine."
