"This place is a true Tahoe original and a rare find in this cookie cutter corporate plain vanilla bare bones type of establishments. No two rooms are decorated the same, each with their own unique appeal. We felt at home just walking in the door and even extended our stay twice while there. Clean comfortable rooms lovingly redecorate, and the amenities were endless and with two teenagers in tow that was a God send. Unlike other reviews we found the manager hospitable, knowledgeable and an incredibly gracious host who never stopped from Sun up to late night in his attention to detail! 8 thumbs up from our whole family! Thanks for making our stay so memorable!"
"This Resort style Motel has been a favorite vacation spot for first my family that I grew up in and then the family that I raised. The current owners have held onto the property and managed to keep its Old Tahoe feel from the open beam ceilings in all the rooms to the knotty pine sideing on the outside of the buildings. In keeping with the resort atmosphere it comes complete with ping-pong and billiards in a tent out by the pool as well as horse shoes, volley ball and croquet on the front lawn, and a kids playground with swings, tetherball and shuffleboard on the backside of the property, and wrapped around it all is a homemade mini golf course!. You know its easy to find fault with anything this life throws at you but when you have a clean quiet family driven motel which refuses to compromise their principles you are going to upset those who want it "their way" all the way. Great place for those from 5 to 85 and everywhere in between!"
