"THe pictures do not show how his hotel really looks. NOT anywhere close to the pictures. Even the outside shots are not representative of the hotel!!! The customer service representative at the front desk was rude (Gizelle). The room smelled of disinfectant, The are the hotel is in is quite questionable(unsavory characters lurking around ) Go to the Holiday Inn next door. The hotel is beautiful and clean and th front desk is friendly... we were so concerned about the location and the room not as presented we left and went to the Holiday Inn. The hotel refuses to refund our room ..... If this is how Best Western runs their business I will from now on be sure and stay anywhere but Best Western. Maybe corporate should visit their hotels !!!!!!"

"Great place to stay within an hour of Death Valley National Park. Rooms were very comfortable and the price was not bad, $170 after all the taxes and fees. This town has everything a person needs before venturing into the wild."

"I called to try and get a room here, and the girl who answered the phone said she was too busy and would have to call me back. She took my name and number, and no one ever called us back. We were in town visiting and needed a place to stay. I understand I did this last minute, but if you don't even have the decency to call a potential customer back, then maybe you shouldn't say you're gonna call us back. Management needs to find a way to resolve this by either hiring more people and staffing better employees on the weekends because this was very frustrating. It's a super small town, but at least I was able to find a room elsewhere. Thanks anyways, Best Western. Definitely won't ever try to stay here when visiting next time."

"I didn’t want to write this review but we stayed here for 2 nights and the first night, my husband went to the bathroom and noticed the toilet wasn’t flushing good so he lifted the fresh water lid to inspect and he found a meth pipe. We weren’t even offered a discount for the inconvenience and my young son having to see this. I would like to mention that the two ladies working in the front on 12/26 at around 4pm were very nice!"

"Every Best Western hotel I have booked has been a great, reliable, and clean stay. I like that when I book with Best Western, I know what I’m getting every time. This was NOT the case with this hotel. Upon arrival, we noticed this is not a hotel. It is a half motel half hotel, and this is not advertised anywhere. On top of that, the concierge employee gave us a pretty hard time about switching to a hotel room. That is what we had reserved in the first place! We got to the hotel building behind the motel/lobby building. We were put on the second floor… and there was no elevator. Again, this was not advertised anywhere. We had to lug our suitcases up a set of stairs. Our room was at the end of the hall, so we had the pleasure of seeing all the scratched up front doors to the rooms. Cozy! Inside the room there were multiple issues. The AC barely worked, was noisy, and the air coming from it did not smell clean. There was also a corner of the room that smelled weird. There were stains on the tiles in the shower. The bed sheets were wrinkly, cheap, and surprisingly not dirty because they did not feel clean. Who cares about a big room when it feels gross? At a minimum you could say the free breakfast is a plus, but if the smelly AC, smelly room corner, and stained shower tiles are any indication of how the keep the kitchen, I’m very glad to skip out on the free breakfast. If this is the experience you are looking for, by all means, book this hotel! However, for me, this place was extremely misadvertised, rundown, smelly, and uncomfortable. Really disappointed."
