Elms Motel

"I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel on a recent snowboard trip to Mammoth. Right off the 395 highway, super clean rooms, comfortable bed, shower was good, the owner was kind and funny and the check in/out process was super fast and easy. Only good things to say about this place - I plan to stay here again on my next trip to Mammoth, hopefully sooner than later! Thanks again for a great experience"

"This place sucks. It's expensive, rooms are tiny, no fridge, microwave, the coffee is HORRIBLE and coffee maker leaks, they only give 3 sugars and 2 creamers total, there's no tissues no alarm clock, the TV's volume is weird and it's really hard to turn up and down, furniture is outdated, and the grossest part was there was like a bloody tissue of some sort on bathroom floor. Oh and the bed was SOOOOO UNCOMFORTABLE!!!! seriously for the price GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! location is ok but the location of all the motels in the whole city is ok cause Bishop is a lil city. Only kinda neat thing about this place is they had the teachings of Buddha book instead of the bible.... That's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 lol. Oh and the managers are very nice."

"This is prime location for exploring Mammoth, the White Mountains, Hot Springs, and the Eastern Sierras. Everything is within a 45 minute drive. The property has recently been remodeled and the rooms are quiet, clean and cozy. The best part of our stay is how kind the property owners are. Extremely friendly and accommodating. There are restaurants and a bar within walking distance in Bishop from the Elms and a beautiful park in their backyard. We will be back! Thank you for our awesome stay!"
