Reviews of Cedar Pines Resort
"Loved our stay here, the cavin was clean and cozy. Perfect for our family of 5, we had everything we needed and the owner is very nice and attentive to our needs. We would definitely came back, thanks Cedar Pines Resort for making our stay here so pleasant!"
"Had a great stay for 6 nights Feb 20th-26th. Douglas was super accommodating to our need for an extension on our stay because of the weather. We adored the little cabin. All the amenities we needed were provided. It had a futon in the living room, one bedroom and a loft upstairs with two twin beds. There are no extra blankets, so if you need one for the futon bring a sleeping bag, I always have mine in my car for emergencies. I don't understand the reviews of thin blankets and it being cold inside. We had to turn the heater off because we were too hot. Nice gas fireplace for ambiance as well with thermostat adjustment. He had a snow removal crew daily coming in as well. There is Wi-Fi as well, but keep in mind you're on vacation in one of the most beautiful towns, try to disconnect and live in the moment. It gets spotty because you are amongst the trees. I was honestly shocked we had Wi-Fi at all! I most definitely will be returning!"
"Enjoyed our stay very much. I read some negative reviews before we came and did not find them to be true. These are cabins, not the Westin. We stayed in #12 and found it to be clean and well setup when we arrived. The cabins are actually what we in California call tiny homes: park model RVs to everyone else. They are very cabiny feeling inside and out, have a small kitchen, full bathroom, bedroom and loft beds. There is a small deck also. There is the main heater which some reviews said was too loud, they are pretty loud so we just used the gas fireplace which has a thermostat and it was nice and quiet. These cabins are a short walk from Earnie's cafe, Bert's cafe and the Lake House restaurant. They are about a 10min drive from the village. There is a cleaning fee so be aware when you book your stay. Would definitely stay here again."
"Although this property has a nice location in the woods and cabins have nice layout we are very disappointed in our stay. Cabin was very FILTHY - carpets are all stained all over and are dusty, hardwood floors are not mopped and are covered in dirt, lots of trash ( bottles, cereal, paper) underneath the armchair, stove and sofa. The cushion of the armchair was so dirty and stained we had to take it off to be able to seat. The sofa's upholstery was greasy and smelled, had to cover with a blanket to seat on it. Spiderwebs EVERYWHERE - bedroom upstairs and downstairs. There were no extra blankets and the existing THIN blankets were dirty. I wish I would have extra clean blankets with me for kids. The propane heater never worked properly even after replacement of propane tank, we had strong smell of fumes , so we couldn't have it on. Had to get by with the stove in the living area and electric heater for the bedroom. Very very disappointed considering what we payed for our 5 nights stay. This is a nice property, but needs some upkeep, cleaning and better maintenance. Will not be coming back and will not recommend this place to anybody. I am going to leave a negative review on Google and Booking.com as well."
"The cabin is tiny, but comfortable. Be aware that the ceiling in the loft is only about 4 feet high, and the heater is incredibly loud. It says it can accommodate 6, but we had barely enough room for three people's baggage."
