Playpark Lodge

"Playpark Lodge exceeded my expectations by far! I have never been in a cleaner hotel room at any price point. The room was very homey, thoughtfully appointed (coffee, waters, plates and utensils, etc) and felt closer to an Airbnb than a hotel/motel room. Even then, one of the owners mentioned they were working on renovating all the rooms. We will be back for sure."

"Can’t beat the value, location and layout in the room. It was clean and perfect for our family with the two separate rooms. We had easy access to heavenly and nearby restaurants and we chose it because it was also a little closer to kirkwood. I also appreciated the quick service. A fuse blew but it was fixed immediately."

"Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of our room. Nicely decorated, our room had a beachy Lake Tahoe theme. We had family staying at their sister property about 1.5 mi away, Fireside Lodge, also very nice, rooms w/ fireplaces they have breakfast in morning and wine & cheese in afternoon."

"For the price this was a great room. Arrived during a snow storm and there was someone shoveling the walk in front of the rooms and a plow clearing the parking area. They were super friendly. Only complaint is the radiator would rattle occasionally, but not a major issue for me. Also love how close it is to the Sierra at Tahoe mountain. I would stay here again."

"The good: Room was clean and nicely furnished. Also, really nice to have the extra room with two additional beds. Nice to have fridge, microwave, TV, and coffee! Loved the fire tables outside! Great location. Person on site was really nice to get me some ice! The bad: Walls a little thin; could hear neighbors. Main bed slightly hard. No space in bath to set things. Overall, this was positive and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again!"
