"Riding horseback in the buttermilks was a bucket list type of experience. The staff was so helpful and made our whole group feel very comfortable and taken care of. Will definitely be back!"
"Fabulous experience riding Annie the grey mule. I've always ridden horses so this was a first for me, and my first time riding in America with a stunning backdrop. I rode the hour trail which was lovely, but I'm sure you get to see so much more on a longer hack, which unfortunately I didn't have the time to do. Gabi who took me out is an absolute star. It's wranglers like her and great mules or horses that make the ride worthwhile . She was attentive, kind, caring and welcoming. I highly recommend McGee Creek."
"Lovely 2 hour ride on a mixture of horses and mules, depending on our experience and size. They provide a saddle bag to keep your water and belongings in and are attentive throughout the ride, making sure you are comfortable and adjusting your stirrups if needed. They offer to swap if you are struggling with your animal. Can't fault it!"
"These folks are awesome, and the Beaver Meadow ride today couldn't have been more beautiful. The selected horse and mule fit us (and our temperaments) perfectly. The superb and friendly staff really had our saddles and stirrups nicely dialed -- we were totally comfortable on this 4-hour ride. Our guide Kate was great -- pleasant, accommodating, and safety minded. Following a big winter, as expected, the creeks and waterfalls were rushing and the whole area was green and lush. Bugs weren't really an issue until we stopped at the halfway point; then I wished I'd brought some juice along. Otherwise, no problems. We'll ride with McGee Creek Pack Station again and will refer friends their way. Highly recommend!"
