"Yellowstone and Grand Teton was booked and paid in full for Aug. 2019. When we called about food plans. No answered and emails bounced back along with the website was cleared to. We got scammed like others. We are still trying to get our money back from Frank. No luck! He is SCAM and we found out about it to late!"
"SCAM! owner is out on bond scamming, did not show up to pick up my group in WY (we are from AZ) or respond to any communications. Lost $10,000 from this company. Do not use!!! Our trip was supposed to be 5/26/19 to 6/1/19. Frank Smith is a con artist & a Thief taking advantage of the elderly & women. Police reports filed. Lawyers retained. Please contact through Facebook VICTIMS OF CECIL FRANK SMITH."
"Stay away from this company. My group paid for our tour in full over a year ago with great anticipation of a great trip. When we did not receive our itineary as promised we started to try to conact them but never got a response back. Afer numerous attemps to reach them both by phone and email. I finally received an email that the owner had a debilitating medical condition and the company will not be able to continue operations. The company is forced to quit operations effective immediately. They also state that I will receive a full refund according to their terms and conditions. After reading other reviews, where they have received checks that bounced, I am not confident that they have any money to pay me and my three friends back the money they took from us. We are out just under $10K. Frank S was the one that sold us on the trip and when I see that their website still shows hours of operation Monday throutgh Friday, it makes me sick to my stomach that other people could lose money for a trip that will not happen. Many other posts that I have read report similar experiences and we need others to post and warn people to stay away."
"8 of us booked the Luxury Limo Tour of Yellowstone for Wednesday August 8, 2018. Since that time we have been trying to work with Frank to get a partial refund but have not succeeded. He has been informed that this review will be written this week. Our tour was to include a “Luxury Limo Liner, Chef Prepared Gourmet Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and In Transit Snacks & Drinks Including Beer and Wine.” We were notified by email at 11 pm the night before our tour that the luxury liner had mechanical problems and would be replaced with a Mercedes van. A little research revealed the “bus” was disabled several days before our scheduled trip. We were leaving Teton Village at 5:45 am the following morning and their email stated “phone service would not be available until after 8 am.” It appears that notice was provided at the last minute to deter cancellation. We were served bagels, cream cheese, fruit and juice for breakfast, a sack lunch (and one short for our group of 8), and pizza and pie for dinner. They did offer beer and wine with dinner but none in transit in part because our driver was underage to serve. Many in our group have tried to work with Frank (the owner) and Ellie (his daughter and our tour guide/driver) to get a partial refund. In fact, a partial refund has been promised more than once but the check that was sent BOUNCED! Not only do they have mechanical problems, they also have accounting problems. I’m sure there are more reliable companies offering tours of Yellowstone and I strongly recommend NOT touring with Experience Park Tours."
"Please read this before you book a tour with this company. We chose this particular company because they advertised LUXURY tours and top notch service. We had to rebook with them in July because the limo liner was broken down and then could not get a comparable substitute for our 7 day transportation and tour. To add insult to injury the owner, Frank, had an employee call us the late night before our rebooked trip on Aug 5 to inform us that the limo liner was broken AGAIN. However, the employee assured us that they were doing everything to get us something comparable, instead of a sprinter van. Wrong !! The two employees arrive at the airport in the in the sprinter van anyway and proceed to tell us that we are not allowed to drink in the van. We have all of the original emails between our travel agent and this company, we SPECIFICALLY booked with them based on what they advertised: luxury liner, chef on board, bathroom on board and plenty of alcohol for our cocktails. Instead we are expected to ride in this van with plastic bench seats that are very uncomfortable and drinks or chef prepared food. They take us to the west entrance of the park and expect us to rush through Mammoth Falls and Tower Falls then they tried to book us at a 2 star hotel instead of the 5 star they advertised and we paid for by the way.... instead we arrive at 320 Ranch at 8:30 PM. Very late to eat dinner and to top it all off, the employees booked a motel room for us ( instead of the private McGill cabin we paid for) and they stayed in the adjoining room together. Tacky. Gee, thanks for our privacy Ellie. If that was not bad enough, after my fiance asked her if the owner, Frank, was sending a new limo liner, she proceeded to tell us , no he is not getting one and tomorrow you will be in a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Are you kidding me??? We had had enough of the insults, and lies. The next morning, Ryan, drove us to Jackson. Wyoming to the hotel that we had booked for the end of our trip. The White Buffalo Club, I highly recommend this place. World class. The manager was mortified by what he was told and treated us like royalty. We spent $10,000.00 to Experience Park Tours and still have not received an apology from the owner or our refund. do not book a trip with these people, one mistake is understandable but you don't run a company like this and treat your customers like this, you may read all of the 5 star reviews just as we did, beware. There are other Luxury Limo companies in Bozeman and Jackson because we saw them in the parks, Google those people and spend your money wisely. How unfortunate that they tried to ruin our vacation, costs us so much .ore money to make all of the changes and even knew that my boyfriend was planning to propose to me. Can you imagine how that would have gone down with these people?? They did ZERO to make it up to us or make it better. Thankfully, we did get engaged without incident and through true professionals in the Tetons. Had to call a lawyer this morning, we will not let this go . We work at hard for our money Frank, you will not just take it and hide at your office. It is imperative that we share this information. We don't want anyone else to have this happen to them . Our travel agent posted this on her site as well, thankfully, the current trips that were booked with Experience Park Tours, have been cancelled."
