Reviews
"What a beautiful walk! First time going here, and I would go back. It's great for beginners like myself who are looking to get into hiking."
"Barbeque picnic in the park. Shaded, and cool on a hot day. Easy parking, the smell of pine trees and the sounds of the creek. Awesome place for friends and family. The locals little secret."
"One of my favorite hiking areas. Galena creek runs year round, but is roaring right now due to huge snow pack, filling entire channel deeply. There are at least 3 trails that follow it, and others that wind around in the forest. A little early yet for wild flowers but manzanita, ceonothis and service berry are blooming. Nice park with visitor center, nature trail, fishing pond, and fish hatchery. I see school field trips on weekdays. Can get crowded on weekends."
"Beautiful place to see in winter, especially the snow covered trees. I snowshoed the nature trail in mid January and there was a well defined track that easily followed the actual trail. It also seemed like the other trails in the area were geared for snowshoeing."
