Reviews of Lake Tahoe Adventures
"We had an amazing experience with Lake Tahoe Adventures. Our guide, Bryan, was incredible and very friendly. We were also impressed that they had medics throughout the route just to be safe. The bus drivers and sign-in staff were also very helpful and kind. Overall, we were VERY impressed!"
"WHAT A BLAST!!!! Garrett was our tour guide. He was AMAZING. He explained how to use the snowmobile to those that have never been on one and to update those who have. He was Friendly, detailed, safe, fun and just a great guide. the best guide we have had here at LTA. We will try to request him next time we are up here for the advanced ride. The tour itself was 2 hours long. That’s actual ride time. Garrett made sure to stop for short picture opportunities every so often and to check on his group. We had the 11am tour. We were picked up at our resort by a bus at 9:05am. made a few other stops to pick up more people. Once we arrived to their office off 50 in Meyers we had to go inside to fill out paperwork. That does take some time. Too bad they don’t allow you to fill the forms out online to make the check in process quicker. Anyways, once we checked in and got our helmets we loaded the busses and headed up 89 to Hope Valley. Once there they broke up the 3 bus loads into groups. Each Tour guide gave their instructions and off we went. Once the tour is over, you will load back into the busses and go back down the hill to the office to return your helmet, and back onto a bus to be taken back to your hotel or resort. Some notes. you can have 2 people per machine. you have to be 16 or older with a government ID to drive the snowmobile alone. Weight max was 450lbs i believe. our 17yr old son is 6’8 and was able to fit comfortably and had a blast. no bathrooms on the trail. so you may have to water a tree if you have to go. so be sure to do your biz when you arrive. Thanks again to Garrett for making this day FUUUUUN!!"
"I was thankful we were able to come here as an alternate snow mobiling vendor due to lack of snow conditions at another location in the area. We were picked up on time at the shuttle point we indicated when we registered. Once we arrived, the whole check-in process was a mess — very unorganized. They should have you fill out all necessary forms ahead of time online or on the shuttle to the place as this took almost an hour for everyone to complete and we were all jammed in the small building waiting to fill these out and pay our insurance. Definitely recommend the $35 insurance coverage as we heard they will charge your card full amount of the snow mobile if it’s damaged at all (and we definitely saw people flip and run into trees). We went on the summit trail. Our guide Garrett was awesome! He was super attentive and personable in his interactions with each individual or couple. I’d give him 5 ⭐️The sights were breathtaking. Unfortunately if you’re in a group with someone who is scared or never done this (like we were), they may go turtle pace the whole time which is a huge bummer. We never exceeded 20-25 mph which was a little unfortunate. We still had fun, but would have preferred a private tour."
"Incredible experience. Brian was out guide and he was excellent. We took a private tour. There were four of us total and we had an absolute blast. Highly recommended doing this."
"Had the best tour guide. So much fun. A must do if your in the area. The views are spectacular ❤"
