"I had the most amazing experience recently at Herbal Spa and Salon, thanks to a dear friend who booked us an appointment. It was my first time at a spa, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the salt room to the hot tub, ice bath, steam room, and the full-body scrub - every moment was pure bliss. The treatments were impeccable - from the face mask to the relaxing massage by Sue, everything was top-notch. Not only did we have a great time catching up and relaxing together, but we left feeling completely rejuvenated. I'm already looking forward to our next visit; I think we might even make it a monthly tradition!"

"No herbs at the Herbal Spa & Salon. Irish Spring and Jergens were the brands of soaps used on our bodies. Although the picture on the website shows a woman laying down and getting a salt scrub, the typical reusable Korean scrub plastic mittens were used. The scrub was thorough and the lady was nice. There were 4 tables so you could come here with friends for a group experience if desired. When we were finished with our time there we went to the locker room and got our belongings out of the locked lockers. 1 woman was in there grating vegetables, another woman was in there watching us and clearly doing the 'tip police' job. Not a relaxing way to finish up, but the complimentary q-tips and lotion kinda balanced things. The salt room is beautiful, hot, peaceful and quiet. There are nice blankets to lay on and good neck supports for laying down. But, there are fluorescent lights on the ceiling instead of salt lamps or soft lighting on the walls or floors. Flourescent lighting in your face impacts the relaxation. The cold pool was nice and cold and had a pull shower in it - bonus! The hot tub was just the right hot. The communal showers and all areas were very clean. 5 stars for cleanliness. The steam room and sauna were both working, clean and enjoy able. I gave this place 2 stars because although the website pictures of the facility are accurate, this was clearly advertised as "Herbal" as if they used natural products and the picture is of a lady with salt on her back. This led us to believe we were getting a very different experience than what actually happened - stinky chemical products. We spent $90 on something that was nice, but we never would have come here to begin with had we known. I chalk this up to the cultural/language barrier. This seems like other Korean Spas that I've been to in the US + a great salt room with poor lighting. If you are American/European go for the cultural experience, not for the type of spa experience you are used to back home."

"This was the experience of a lifetime. Full of ups and downs - highs and lows - shocks and comforts. Actually, no comforts, but I digress. Let me begin by saying that I was very unclear as a 30 year old white woman (which I take full responsibility for) that this spa requires full nude. We were NOT aware of this until being told “no, all off!”. Beautiful execution on the shock factor, I love the authentic experience. I’m pretty sure they hated us, but alas, I do not speak Korean. There are no publicized “steps” for which order to navigate this experience. But the obvious first step is the prison-style showers to rinse off before engaging in the other luxuries. Don't drop the communal soap bar! Then you have your pick of the jacuzzis, sauna, or the steam shower room that’s hot enough to cook a lobster. I will say, the salt room was VERY relaxing and the salt tastes good enough to season an expensive steak. 10/10 stars. I recommend everyone go and try this out for themselves. You truly emerge a new human. Don’t miss the opportunity to get Korean fried chicken on your way out (or in). Perfectly seasoned with salt just like me after that salt room."

"I love going here! Highly recommend getting a body scrub package. Exactly what I needed nurturing pampering. The scrubbing can be painful. They get everywhere cleaned and you come out with baby soft skin feeling new. If you’ve never been to a Korean spa it is no clothing but they give you robes and towel. We were offered complimentary bottled water for drinking and recommended half hr in salt room before scrub. Did the cold plunge and hot tub too. The steam and sauna were off or we weren’t sure how to start it. So some instructions be nice. Overall such nice relaxing rejuvenating. Even just doing the spa it’s great!!"

"If you've never been to a Korean spa, leave your modesty at the door and enjoy! Do the full experience. Don't skip the cold bath! The staff - especially the owner - are all very sweet ladies. The scrub and massage are amazing! I try to go every few months."
