"I booked an appointment with Marissa to bookend a trip to the Big Island with my wife, I could not be more happy with every part of this experience! I collaborated with Marissa and sent a drawing of a Humpback Whale and Calf that I had the idea to get on my inner bicep. Marissa interpreted my requests and executed the exact artwork I pictured on my arm. Arriving at the beautiful studio was like a tropical dream, as an artist I was beyond envious of having such a beautiful environment to be creative in. The studio was clean and had a warm, sunny welcoming vibe, full of happy house plants, with the open windows overlooking the ocean and Leon Bridges records playing in the background. Marissa is an incredible artist and the most considerate artist I've worked with. From checking on my comfort and pain levels often, to confirming the placement was done with consideration to where the tattoo would rest upon relaxing my arm, there was a consistent emphasis on care for her clients needs. She provided all the detailed information for after care and expections. Marissa was friendly, relatable and conversational with my wife and I throughout working on my arm; she is a lovely person and a new friend. Most importantly, the artwork, the final piece is a dream come true. It's a part of me that I'm proud to share and makes me emotional to look at, given it's sentimental symbolism. It's a tattoo that I can confidently say that I'm so proud of and so grateful to look at, from idea, to sketch, to being a part of me forever. Thank you so much for everything!!"

"I got a beautiful mushroom tattoo here! Not only was the tattoo beautifully done, but the service (Marissa) was amazing. She was so kind and funny. The shop itself was clean, organized and filled with pretty plants and art. It was overall, a lovely experience. Even the playlist was nice."
