"If I could give a negative star I would because out experience was absolutely horrible. We arrived in Honolulu for a Christmas to bury my mother and apon arrival we were stranded at the Airport. Even tho a shuttle is listed as a way to LA Auto we had to get a taxi. I was traveling with a 3 year old and my fiance from Florida and they both were incredibly jet lagged. I asked the man who was servicing vehicles in the back why they never picked us up and he said "oh sorry we are short staffed". I told him as understanding as I could that times are tough and I'm sure they are experiencing challenges. We requested a car seat for our 3 year old that was never provided. He went to install it, and thank God I corrected him because it was not properly installed, which could have jeopardized my sons safety. When I went to install the car seat in the Subaru I complained to him about the car being dirty and smelling disgusting like someone was smoking cigarettes and cigars in the car. He knew the vehicle reeked of smoke and marijuana and told us he didn't have the authority to give us a new vehicle. At this point I was incredibly frustrated and was lead to believe that Turo would help resolve this. After leaving LA Auto we had to drive straight to the gas station because the vehicle had absolutely no gas. This was another inconvenience as my family was ready to check into our accommodations and get some well needed rest after a long travel. We tried our best to make the situation work and had to deal with an unsatisfactory vehicle the entire duration of our trip. Neither my fiance or I smoke and we were charged for a smoking violation as well as for gas that was never provided. I don't know what type of people are in charge of running this place but if you have a chance go ANYWHERE else! They will try to rob you of every dollar. I grew up on this island my entire life and come back to be greater with the most toxic form of Aloha. Just because my fiance is a Haole does not mean you have to treat us so poorly. Get it together. NO PONO!!"

"LA Auto Spot - Honolulu was such an easy spot to grab a car. We rented 3 different vehicles over the span of 7 days and they were able accommodate our needs from between our 3,2 and 1 day rentals. We rented a Wrangler, a Supra as well as a Subaru Impreza and all at such a fair and inviting prize.
