"Good food. We ordered the specials, it was made fresh in front of us. We drove to a nearby park to eat it. I enjoyed the taste as well."
"Watched as he breaded and pan fried the chicken for my curry katsu. Super fresh. Also put the curry sauce on the side so it would stay crispy until I was ready to eat it since there isn't anywhere to sit inside. CASH ONLY!!! So come prepared because you don't want to miss out on this one."
"Absolutely delicious, simple home cooked food full of flavor and beautifully executed. Main highlights are the tendon (pictured) and tsukemono but everything is very very good. Heads up that it’s cash only, no sitting room, and one person works the shop so you might have to wait a little bit. But that’s all more than worth it. March your meal down a few blocks to the bayfront park for a meal with an ocean view. 10/10"
"Best hole in the wall Japanese food I've had in quite some time even when compared to the mainland. The price is very cheap given the times. Each plate is around $8 which will fill up the average adult. I ordered a tempura lunch plate and the order was freshly fried right in front of me! Where else does that happen for the price?!"
