About the Business
The Vintage Hawaii is a unique non-profit boutique located in Wahiawa, Hawaii. As an extension of the humanitarian organization Surfing The Nations, we offer a curated selection of treasures from around the world and our local community. Our store features a variety of clothing, jewelry, art, vintage houseware, and international items from global outreaches. We aim to provide a specialized thrifting experience for our customers.
Located on Kamehameha Highway, The Vintage Hawaii is part of a revitalization effort in Wahiawa. Once known for its poverty and crime, the area has been transformed into a vibrant community with thriving businesses. Our store is committed to giving back to the community and supporting projects that benefit the youth and families of Hawaii, as well as other cultures worldwide.
One of our current projects is the Community Outreach and Training Center, which will serve as a hub for Surfing The Nations' operations. The center will provide space for music, art, dance, education, and social services, as well as office space for staff members. Through initiatives like our Internship program, Surfers Leadership program, Ulu Pono Kids program, and Feeding The Hungry program, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in Wahiawa and beyond.
By opening The Vintage Hawaii and the Surfers Coffee Bar, we have helped transform a once troubled street into a thriving community hub. Our goal is to be a catalyst for change and to inspire other businesses to join us in creating a better future for Wahiawa. Visit us today to discover unique treasures and support our mission of making a difference in the world.

"Beautiful place, with incredibly friendly people. This shop is by far one of the best in Wahiawa and is a true hidden gem. Products are always reasonable and I find it fun to explore the shop to find all the cool and old items. Overall this is an amazing place to visit and I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in the area."
"So I read about the shop in one of those "best of" type articles and we detoured on our way back from the north shore to stop in. This place is def a hidden gem! Lots and lots of selection, prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for Hawaii, and the lady who runs the shop - which is a non profit with a mission btw - is chasing and helpful. I think this is going onto my regular list of stops when I'm on the island, such a great little place."
"Kind staff, fun finds from all around the world, great souvenirs and a wide variety of things! Fun to stop by and grab Coffee at their sister coffee shop Surfers Coffee too!"
"Pretty obscure, varied selection. Lots of books on various stuff in the back though. Kind of a tense vibe inside from the two women working there. Would pass on my next visit."
"Cute place for various antique items. Great gifting for friends and family with an eye for the rustic side of life. Some things seem functional, most are great decor in the right context. Prices for most items seem pretty reasonable. Parking available right in front on the main street, or behind the building in a lot."
