"We read the reviews of this car rental place before we left for Maui. The 2.9 rating made us nervous. But It all turned out to be perfect. They gave us 3/4 tank of gas for free just because there was a 15 minute delay when they brought the car to us. Both agents were very friendly and considerate. Because of the good experience, we changed our plan and rented again from them. The 2nd car had dings and dents when we got it. They asked us to take photos. We did, and returned the car as is. We never got charged any extra. Just want to leave a review for this location since we were pretty happy for both rental transactions back to back."

"I actually created an account to simply rate this experience. I have used enterprise within my business and through out personal experience’s. And this location was a nightmare. Had a rental car to pick up. Showed up at just after 2 o’clock to pick it up as the number that phoned me to confirm my rental had hours listed on the website open until 4pm. (The number that called to confirm my rental was apparently not the same place that had my car as I was to pick my car up from the resort. I am not a local so I had no idea what address was what. I went off the phone number that called me) the resort staff was helpful however explained to me that enterprise at this location always has issues. I phoned the number to find out if I could pick up my car. I dealt with an extremely confrontational employee telling me there was nothing they could do. I explained the situation hoping they would send someone from the other location less then 1km away to help me get my rental car as I needed it for a planned trip up Haleakala mountain for the sunrise then next morning. She said there was nothing they could do. I tried again to explain that I was on a family holiday and this was a huge mix up and I just want to get my family up for the sunrise. She said. Nothing we can do. We won’t send anyone over to help. I was extremely annoyed and told her to just cancel my reservation. She said. “Ok.” Like nothing mattered to her. As I was hanging up I said. F*** off.(not my proudest moment but I was extremely upset that this location was so willing to let my family holiday be ruined) the hotel tried to call and get some help and they were unhelpful to them saying that it was because I swore they were unwilling to help me. NOT TRUE they were very unwilling to help before I ever lost my temper. To top it off Mike the manager at said location called me later to inform me that they were canceling my reservation and they do not tolerate swearing. Well Mike you can’t really cancel my reservation after you say you won’t give me my car, I tell you to cancel to cancel my reservation and you call me to tell me you won’t do business with me. Dude. You were the ones completely unwilling to do business. Long story short I will be speaking with my management team at the corporation we use in Canada to see if we can possibly set up another rental car agency for work. Absolute joke of an experience. Thanks for wrecking a family holiday!!"

"Had a great rental car experience with the team at this branch. Incredibly friendly, knowledgable and fast service. I am an Emerald Club Executive member. We ordered a 2-door Jeep and got upgraded to a 4-door due to availability. My only issue was that I preferred our convertible to be automatic versus a manual but thats more of an inventory problem if anything. Keep up the great work team!"

"Be leery renting from The GRAND WAILEA ENTERPRISE. I had read the reviews of the scams of claiming false damages after you leave, so my husband and I were extremely thorough with the car check before even leaving the lot. We are home on the mainland and just got a letter and text message saying we were involved in a hit-and-run. Enterprise validated there were no damages to the car, but something extremely fishy is going on with this rental car facility. UPDATE: 3 weeks after receiving the first letter & phone calls, we learned from the Maui PD that the date of the accident was a month before we were ever in Maui. Enterprise relieved us of charges, BUT it took getting a lawyer involved and doing out own research to get this matter resolved."

"Rented a car for 6 hours to drive up the mountain to Haleakala Summit. I rented from Greg at the enterprise rental desk In the hotel and he was terrible. First he said our confirmed rental was not available and literally offered us a Corvette for 4x times the price as the only option. He is accusing me of causing damage to our rental. He never inspected the car prior to us leaving or returning the rental. I did not do damage to this car and I have a few witnesses as well as pictures. Horrible experience. Look at the local listings for better experiences and way cheaper prices. He is a liar with zero proof that I did any damage to this vehicle. I do not recommend renting from them. If you do, video tape the car before you drive off and when you return it. Valet parking is who hands you the car and receives it and they don't do any inspections. I am fighting this and trying to get video from the Grand Wailea to prove that this is scam or appears to be one in my opinion. The car was either damaged when I got it or after I returned it."
