"Very impressed by the dumplings in this unfussy and spacious dimsum restaurant. Xiao Long Bao was made fresh to order, and the barbecue pork buns (the white ones) were the best I've ever had. Also the red bean sesame balls were the largest I've ever seen, with excellent dough. We went right around when it opened and had no trouble getting a table for 3. Prices were shockingly reasonable as well - we ordered xiao long bao, har gow, siu mai, sesame balls, and baked barbecue pork buns and the total was around $30"
"Went here for dim sum and the food was good for the most part, but we didn't really know what we were eating because they just started handing us a bunch of food as soon as we sat down before we could even look at the menu. We had to tell them repeatedly to stop or else we would've ended up with way too much food. We recognized most of the dishes, but we still have no clue what three of them were and one of the unknown dishes was not very good so we didn't even finish it"
"Visited Hawaii for the first time from Canada. Was recommended by hotel we were staying at. Being part Cantonese myself I love authentic food and not westernized Asian food. Their dim sum was so good that we went twice in the same week! It was the freshest and most tasty ones we’ve ever had. Their service is not the best, place is not very organized but just for the food I would recommend! Always a good sign when you see lots of locals vs the touristy areas."
"I loved the dim sum. It was hot, tasted fresh, lots of filling, not greasy or soggy. Three dim sum is a large portion. The service was quick and the prices, I think, were reasonable. One large portion was $6.95. The server gave me the menu with photos, which I found really helpful."
"Food was yummy but BE READY to pay a hefty tips when you check out. Otherwise, the boss would come and REPRIMAND you in front of all other guests. Their service and attitude were absolutely NOT worth the tips they asked for. Would NOT want to go back even though the food was amazing. I was wondering why they didn't have a full house of guests, now I understand why, it's NOT about the FOOD, it's the SERVICE."
