"Aloha, I am an ICU RN and I have a Certificate of Achievement in Dental Assisting. My dad started having a tooth ache and went to his regular dentist. His tooth needed to be extracted and he had a large abscess underneath it. They gave him an appointment to extract it for 2-1/2 weeks later... Meanwhile he was miserable, he had swelling, and lethargy but couldn't sleep because of the throbbing pain. I was starting to get worried, because people can have life threatening problems due to an abscessed tooth. I tried desperately to get them to move up his appointment or refer him elsewhere to no avail. I called Dr. Baxter's office, and they got him in "that day" and were so nice about it. My dad said, "he is the nicest dentist I have ever met", and "he made me feel so good about the whole thing despite how bad I was feeling". They are truly a wonderful dental office to go to. All the staff is so nice, and Dr. Baxter is a fantastic dentist who does excellent quality work. We are very lucky to have him here on Maui and I would never go anywhere else to have dental work done. As a side note he has also done work for me and my father that other dentists said couldn't be done, and he performed it very well. I can't recommend Dr. Baxter's office enough, just great people!!!"
