"The parking kiosk near the alleyway double charged us. The card reader in the machine frequently does not work and a parking attendant is difficult to find. The location is convenient, but unless the parking machines are fixed, don't chance it. FYI there is another parking kiosk in the back of the lot in case you cannot get this one to work."
"DO NOT PARK HERE. We paid at the parking machine and the machine charged us but didn’t print a receipt. We spoke to the attendant and he said don’t worry about it, he would remember our car. Then we came back and there was a ticket on our car!!! AN ABSOLUTE SCAM, PLEASE AVOID"
"I would give zero stars if I could. Prepaid machines don't give change and the change machines don't work, as if they need to get more money from you. There are a ton of signs advertising $4 all day parking, but after you park it shows $10 for 2 hours. Apparently you have to park before 7 am to get the cheaper price. Parking spots are tiny, I had to pull the car out before we could put the baby in her car seat. Lot is also filthy. Terrible experience"
"This place is a total ripoff parking lot. I bought 1 hour of parking while eating at the Lahaina Grill. We ended up staying longer than the 1 hour I purchased so I walked back out to buy another hour. I put in $5 for another hour and it wouldn't give me a ticket. The price had went up to $10. I asked the attendant on duty for help and his answer was go talk to someone else. These lots behind the Lahaina Grill are ripping off customers big time."
"My wife and I parked at Aloha Parking because we had a reservation at Kimo's. Certainly eat at Kimo's but I wouldn't park here. After having trouble with the Aloha Parking ticket machine that took our money we encountered a belligerent parking lot attendant who kept insisting that the problem was somehow my wife's fault. The parking lot attendant refused to give me his name twice. This quickly turned into a near altercation before we went to the next parking lot over. It turned out that lot was also Aloha parking but with a different attendant named Frenchy. Frenchy quickly deescalated the situation by crediting us the amount we lost in the machine and allowing us to park. He also told us where to enter and exit the lot to avoid Quinton the belligerent parking lot attendant. Visitors to Hawaii need to know that a certain segment of native Hawaiians have a negative attitude toward mainland tourists."
