Reviews of Sunshine Dental Center LLC
"Excellent dentist nice staff that makes people feel comfortable and welcomed."
"Family have been going for a few years. The dentist helped a lot with my kids teeth and helped them more than other dentist and explained to me and kids dad about what needs to be done. Service was good. Dentist is filipino so some might misunderstand how she talks, but she means well. I had bad tooth pain and she was able to help relieve it and I can eat better now. Staff was nice."
"HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They were supposed to do a cleaning after the X-Rays but they basically just put cleaning instruments in my mouth and moved it around. Prior to the “cleaning” they made a point of discussing how much money I needed to pay them…NEVER AGAIN."
"I've never cried or raised my hand during any of my dentist fixing/cleaning or anything during an appointment. If you have a soft heart, or sensitive you shouldn't come here at all. I'm not sure where to even start with how painful and aggressive the whole time I was in their clinic. First thing I stumble apon was how dirty the place was, there was dust and random gunk everywhere. The assistant were very kind but seem new to their job, they did good enough taking care of me. On the other hand, the doctor was not really friendly at all I'm not even sure if she cared about my well being. At first I thought everything was gonna be okay since she wanted to replace all my silver to white and called herself "not cheap" I only came in for consultation but she wanted replace all my silvers, soon after I agreed on it thinking she would put me for another time to do it and think about because who wouldn't want white fillings? but I only find out that takes out so much money from my insurance which I regret so much because I wouldn't be able to afford future dentists. When she started she numbed m. It hurt so much. She didnt even try to be gentle or be kind to my gums. When she started she looked at my teeth in disgust and I just felt so horrible. She was very aggressive with drilling my teeth and replacing everything, when it came to a cavity she over filled my cavity and drilling unnecessary things. I did not get explanation to things she was doing and as a people pleaser I constantly said yes without any reassurance. I ended up crying when she did my cavity and made me feel so traumatized to ever even step near near their dentist clinic. I was sore for days till I went to another dentist today. After my appointment I was nauseous and in so much pain, the doctor didn't even greet me bye. Afterwards, I was in so much pain that any water temperature would hurt that cavity teeth. Not only that my bite was completely uneven. I would also like to mention that she did my full mouth with silver to white within 3 hours, no, that is not impressive she was in a rush and putting in so much pain and making my teeth so grinding and sharp. Please save urself time from not even stepping into their clinic it's more like hell than "sunshine". If I knew how or had money I would sue."
"Terrible dental assistant, hit me in the head with the xray camera (repeatedly). Took so many attempts to take xrays that the dentist had to come and try. I'm not sure she figured out what she was doing, either. Dentist did not listen to any of the information i gave about my dental history, made false claims about my habits and the causes of certain issues despite my explanations, and was overly rough during cleaning. I pointed out the two teeth that are too sensitive for cleaning, she confirmed which they were, and tried to clean them anyway. Both dentist and assistant laughed off my pain. I was also laughed at for using headphones to help my anxiety with dental visits. She even snapped at me to rinse my mouth because she believed i was taking too long while i wiped the excessive amounts of water from my cleaning off my face. They also shoved a toothbrush at me when i was leaving, despite my firm statement that i did not need or want it. It was a children's toothbrush. I will NOT be returning."
