"So I'm back in Hawai'i (again) after doing a soft reset on my life; so far everything's rebooting well, and I figure if everything's going well, let me go see Dr Tran, who was my doc when I lived here a few years back. I live in Mililani, so it was just a short downhill ride through Kipapa Gulch to Waipio Gentry to her super-tech new office - business must be good, because looks like doc threw down some bucks for her clinic. But nice digs isn't necessarily an indicator of good service; in Dr Tran's case, she could work out of warehouse and still give you top-shelf, first-class service. If you have to have someone poking around your mouth and gums, it should be Dr Tran. Not because she's professional (of course she is), Dr Tran is your stereotypical, soft spoken, very sweet, very friendly neighborhood doc. Believe me, sweet counts - I don't trust a lot of dentists, with some crooked ones out there who conduct unnecessary procedures and then overcharge. I also get a little nervous when someone is approaching me with sharp dental tools heading straight into my mouth - her very down-to-earth demeanor puts me at ease. She will be my forever dentist."
