"Had an amazing experience at Big Island Running! My girlfriend and I originally came in for directions but started chatting with Amber and left with some shoes! I had been wearing a pair of old Under Armor sneakers (that were long overdue for an upgrade) and had always struggled finding the right pair for my feet since I overpronate & never could get someone to put me in a good pair. Amber was very knowledgeable and found me a pair of Brooks Beast 20 shoes (in my size + wide)! Already putting a few miles on them and walking & running is a joy again! Thank you Big Island Running (and Amber)! Will be coming back the next time we grab a bite at Island Lava Java (you definitely have to go there too)!"
"Top notch service from a classic speciality running store! You’re coming here for expert advice, quality activewear and running accessories. We needed some last minute gear for Honolulu Marathon and they got it. As with all businesses on the island there is a little lucky dip with sizes (apparently during pandemic women’s 8.5 outsold long time leader - and my personal size - 9.5). It is also a TEENY storefront and things could take a little longer than a big box store. But you can always count on walking out with an informed purchase at this local business. Mahalo x"
