"I'm not sure why "poor" and "fair" aren't separate ratings. Anyhow, this is thoroughly "fair" and maybe even "fairly decent" for the price point. The units are all identical, from what I can tell, nice and comfy, though our particular unit is sorely in need of a few key renovations. Beautiful grounds that are apparently well kept. However, there is no actual staff to help you with anything from what I can tell. The part about finding this place is absolute fact. It's called Pali Ke Kua! How can they still have not changed the signs as the previous reviewers experience was over a year ago?! According to a person who took my reservation for a boat trip, it was bought by Castle resorts "recently." I think this is taking "Hawaiian Standard Time" to a whole new level. I won't even get into the scavenger hunt that was finding our unit and getting our key due to our "late check in" at 3:15 pm, but rumor has it there is an actual person in the office until 3pm. If you're not looking for a resort, but a comfortable, well-located home away from home, this actually is a great option... Just a hop down the road from the Westin and St Regis where we could have paid more for a single hotel room we got a 2bd/2ba condo."
