"It's like walking back in time! From the retro decor to service to food. You can tell that it is still with care and compassion. They treat you as if you were a recurring regular. Food is that "retro" cooking as if it came from grandma. Nothing modern, no deconstructed this or that, just food with care and compassion out of the kitchen. With that neighborly service."
"I love original pancake house! From the delicious old school food, the wonderful staff, and the generous portions, you can’t go wrong here. I love their thick fluffy omelettes and also that you get three pancakes as a side! My daughter got a keiki meal and I got the potato omelette with sour cream sauce, oh baby yeahhhh."
"Ordered spinach and cheese Omelette with 3 pancakes. The Omelette was delicious and the portion was huge. All of this for $17 is a fairly reasonable price in this environment. I could only finish one pancake and took home the rest for snacks later. I'd love to visit this place again."
"Great place for family style breakfast and one of the few places that offers cream of wheat, which was a nice surprise (it was amazing, by the way!) A couple points: R&D's Favorite Omelet - there was way too much salsa on top of it, and it was really watery, so it made everything soggy. Not to mention, it wasn't seasoned, so really, all you could taste was the salsa. HOWEVER The service - immaculate. My waitress was friendly and attentive, and once the manager heard that I did not like the omelet she not only came to me for feedback to give to the cooks, but she also comped it from my bill, which I really appreciate! I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu, if not just for the cream of wheat!"
