Volcano's Lava Rock Cafe

"Do yourself a favor and eat at this cafe!! If you are going to the Hawaii Volcano National Park drive the extra couple of miles , it’s so worth it!! I ordered the Hawaiin Teriyaki Burger w/ fries and it was delicious! The waitress so nice and e Ruth g was super fast."

"The cake was delicious. However the rest of our food wasn’t very good. Fish wasn’t seasoned well. The coffee was lukewarm and old. We were hungry and it was close to the national park. Service was ok."

"We were happy to find the cafe for lunch on our way to the volcano forest. They weren’t busy but they only had one waitress so service was a bit slow. I had the mahi tacos which were dry. The fish was good but they needed something extra. My husband had the pulled pork and he didn’t like it. I put my coleslaw on it and that made it much better. I recommend a stop if you are looking for lunch before heading into the park."

"Would rate 6/5 if we could! We ate here after a fun day of hiking at Volcano National Park. We started off with Guava BBQ wings and they were absolutely incredible. I had the Big O’ 1/2 Burger and loved it. My wife had the Grilled Mahi Mahi and said it was delicious. We finished with a homemade dessert of rich Chocolate Delish and it was amazing. 10/10 recommend!"
