"Phenomenal! How refreshing to find a coffee roaster on the Big Island that specializes in a Lighter Roast! In Kona, it seems many of the other farms like to roast their coffee like a bulk commodity from Medium-Dark to Peaberry-Charcoal flavor, which may be all well good for an iced beverage application, but for those of us who like a bit more nuance in a hot beverage like a French Press or Pour over, a lighter brew in my opinion is the way to go to be able to better taste and enjoy the subtle coffee notes. I tried her Ka’u Arabica Light/Medium roast, and it really did hit the spot! Thank you, Brenda, for filling this niche well!"

"My partner and I had heard rumors of an amazing local coffee roaster, Brenda, when talking to our B&B host and after trying a cup, I knew we had to find this coffee farm. While on our way there, I gave the business number that's listed a call and to my surprise, Brenda herself answered and let me know she wasn't at her farm but down the road at a local Farmer's Market. We made our way there and sampled some truly otherworldly coffee roasted fresh that day. Brenda had a smile on her face the entire time and her daughter was just as friendly, as well as an excellent businesswoman. Two smoothies as well as three bags of coffee later and we were on our way. I cannot recommend this coffee enough, but maybe give Brenda a call before you show up at the farm!"
