"This place feels very "local blue collar diner" as opposed to a tourists stop. This is great homey food, not gourmet stuff. We had a table of 8, the waitress took our order without writing anything down and got it all right. Nothing fancy here, just great people going by their business, serving good food with great service."

"This place is amazing!!! I didn't know corn chowder could taste so good. Very flavorful meals. It must have been less than 10 minutes that they had my food out. I watched the same expedient service happen with other folks' meals, and during a dinner rush! Friendly and attentive waitresses. I had a good feeling about this place when I googled it, and was right. Do yourself a favor and please eat here. You won't be disappointed. Wish I lived closer cause this would be my new favorite dining joint."

"When we arrived, the parking lot was completely full, signaling a bustling restaurant. Initially, our social anxiety made us hesitant due to the crowd, but we decided to brave it given the evident popularity of the place. Fortunately, we were seated immediately despite the crowd. The restaurant was not only busy but also highly efficient, especially with their circular seating arrangement for customers. We received prompt service. The menu was extensive, perhaps overly so. I generally prefer a more concise menu as it often reflects a dedication to quality. We ordered the Conquest sandwich, which includes roast beef, grilled onions, cheese, and sauce, and the French dip as well. While waiting, we appreciated a timely refill of our water. Our food was served in just 10 minutes, a pleasantly quick service. Both the au jus sauce and the French dip were outstanding. The Conquest sandwich was impressively large, packed with tender, well-seasoned meat. We would definitely order both sandwiches again."

"The server was very kind and helpful! The tri dish was great to split. Mengo cheese cake didn't really have a strong mango flavor, but was a really good cheese cake. Mud pie was an amazing ice cream pie! The top layer is creamy chocolate with a fudge layer then the bottom layer is a wonderful caramel ice cream with chocolate cookie crumb. Would definitely come here again if I was not going back to MN."

"Great, little local place. Still pretty worried about Covid stuff (March 2023) so lots of people waiting outside to be seated or to pickup to-go food. Very attentive and friendly people working here. Fried shrimp and fries was pretty good. Other food was just ok. Rounding my 4 up to a 5 because it’s a comfy place and they’re very sweet."
