Ahi and Vegetable - Kapalama

"Excellent variety of seafood and vegetable dishes. The spicy ahi, and unagi bento (plate), were especially nice with a complementary serving of miso soup. We'll be back. A great relaxing, friendly restaurant environment for members of the entire family."

"We’ve been supporting this business for years, supported them during Covid, supported them during the new owners, supported them even after their 25% price increase, but after tonight‘s toshie will probably be the last time almost $30 for the bowl but always worth it with the large pieces of fish. After tonight’s meal I’m still hungry. The slices of sashimi were smaller than some you get at a cheap all you can eat place definitely not worth the price on top of that. They charge your 3% surcharge for credit cards. I’ve tried my best to support this place, but I think I’m done."

"the food was amazing. i got the garlic salmon steak with sushi rice, and that was delicious, tasted fresh, savory, and meaty. the salmon was very juicy, the rice was very sushi rice. the food was so good, it filled me up in 3 minutes. it made me so full that it made me save a quarter of each. the cashier was very patient while i was deciding what to get. the food came out pretty fast, not much of a wait. the interior is aesthetically pleasing. the place was very neat. thank you."
