"I’ve never felt the need to post a review of a restaurant, but I feel compelled to post this - I’ve NEVER had a worse meal in my life. Our group ordered the simplest of foods (grilled cheese sandwiches, mac n cheese, fries, and salad). You can’t mess that up, right? WRONG… The grilled cheese was cold, hard, and absolutely repulsive. Mac n Cheese came straight from a Kraft box, and the salad was just a massive piece of lettuce slapped into the box with nothing on it… I’d rather eat something at a college frat house than this restaurant; they should be ashamed."

"We stayed on the resort (which has been great) and had to order from here in a pinch - we spent $120 for 4 people on maybe the worst food I’ve ever had before. Four people all agreed that we wish we didn’t even order. Everything was just not great, cold, and bland - inclusive of the count shrimp, fish sandwich, and Mac N Cheese (which was literally Kraft Mac N cheese) - nothing was enjoyable by any means. Would absolutely not recommend this this to no anyone, by any means ."

"If you're looking for a fantastic spot in Kona for delicious food and entertainment, look no further than Sunset Terrace. We've been going there ever since its been oppened and it has become our go-to spot. The staff is incredible, the food is always fresh and tasty, and there's awesome music every single night. Our favorite food to get are their blue cheese burgers, onion ings, club sandwiches, and the fish and ships. The fish is always fresh and the crisp on the batter is so delicious! The drinks that you MUST has is the Lava Flow. They serve it with fresh strawberries and it just tastes like a vacation. The views from this restaurant are so relaxing. You are looking into the golf course and have tropical views all throughout. We enjoy coming here so much! The ownnership has worked so hard at creating such an amazing atmosphere and giving us so many unforgettable moments with good friends and great food. Seriously, if you haven't checked out Sunset Terrace yet, what are you waiting for? It's a must-visit spot that you won't regret!"

"Food was average honestly. Kind of like bar food at most places. Service was rather inconsistent. Not rude, just hard to get more water, for example. View is nice though. It’s hard to find the “entrance” as its adjacent to the resort’s pool. Go through one of the gates where guests enter the pool and you’ll find the restaurant."
