"I was so lucky to be able to travel to Hawaii for my very first time last week. I met some friends there who have been there countless times already so they are the ones who found and reserved this Luau for all of us to do together. I am not sure exactly what I expected but I was excited, nonetheless. There was absolutely nothing lackluster about it! The pageantry was detailed and well-performed. Everything was rich with the culture and history of Hawaii. I learned so much! The food was delicious and the setting was beautiful."
"Food was spectacular. There was a huge spread. The show was excellent. Music was excellent. The luau grounds were very private and peaceful. It was probably the best luau I have been to."
"Great food and entertainment! The Kalua Pork was fresh coming out of the underground oven. There was so much selection of local food and desserts were delicious. The show was great! There was a lot of excitement and enthusiasm coming from the cast which made it very enjoyable to watch."
"A beautiful evening!! Amazing setting, lovely energy from our hosts/emcee/performers, great food and drink! The music, storytelling and dancing were really powerful. Great for all ages!"
"Friday: Good historical entertaining Luau. However it was a bit subdued compared to the party going on next door at the Fairmont Hotel Luau on Saturday. The food is why this is only a 3 star review - the all day ground cooked pig was really good. The chicken came in second but the fish, flank steak and appetizers were not so good. Either too bland or just missed the recipes…Some of this could be the food prep and time it takes to make it to the table. The complimentary wine with the meal was sub par. The welcome mai tai was also sub par. Maybe it just comes down to not enough staff to prepare everything as fresh as possible. I asked and it seems the Luau is only 7mo only but I would assume that’s enough time to work out these quality issues."
