"What an absolutely awful experience! The owners wife is a consumate shrew who for what ever reason determined we were not worthy of a table although we patiently waited. Finally after inquiring on several occasions over the space of an hour her highness granted us a spot. When we pointed out the table was missing its surface finish and was soaked like a sponge she reluctantly switched the table. Dinner was ordered slowly served and we paid only to have queen bee tell us to not come back. The servers were excellent and worked their tails off. As requested we will not come back and neither should anyone else. As a follow up the owner, we assume, decided the best reply was to further insult us with accusatory remarks making outrageous slurs suggesting our alcohol consumption which between 4 of us was 3 drinks 1 water some how created the situation Absurd for sure, derogatory and slanderous definitely. Our comments stand.!!!"

"They improved the patio with bamboo fencing. It cuts off the cool breezes. It makes for a more comfortable dining outside at night. Great happy hour Mai Tais! The bacon half pound cheddar cheese burger with fries was more than enough for the two of us! It was a wonderful delicious meal. I had the special Thursday pork chop dinner for less than $20. It was a rainy evening and we sat inside. People were watching sports and playing pool and enjoying their meals. For my wife, she enjoyed the large burger, but doesn't enjoy the restaurant noise. The restaurant is south of the town of Kailua-Kona. Check out the specials for the day and save money while doing it!"

"Small town, local hang out with fabulous food and drinks. Happy hour is great. There are usually people playing pool, music is good, and they have plenty of TVs with sports showing. The staff are friendly. We've been back a number of times."
