"This was one of our coolest dining experiences on the Big Island! Sitting on the veranda overlooking Hilo Bay was a spectacular setting. I've traveled the globe and always try specialty cocktails where I go. I have a new global favorite - the "lime in da Coconut". Since I was a kid I always heard the song but never saw it on a drink menu. It was a no brainer to try it. Nothing i can say here will do it justice so I'll just say "go get one"!!! We ordered onion Rings as an appetizer and they were as good as any we've had! They were lightly cooked in salt and vinegar and they were delicious! The fish and Chips dish was great and the other entrees were excellent. We'll be going back to Hilo and we'll definitely be making reservations for HBC a few times during our next visit!!!"

"Simply amazing! Special call out to Sierra for fantastic service accommodating a couple of walk in tourists. We had the misokayki butterfish salad, carpaccio, and the Hilo sunset sushi roll. All were amazing! Best meal of our trip."

"Awesome place. Plan and make a reservation if your a large party. Sat with a party of 6. Got food in a timely manner with no issues.Came around sunset. Sat outside with a lovely view. Temperature was perfect. Hostess and waitress were more than helpful with any questions we had and provided excellent service. Ordered a rainbow roll and the buttermilk fried chicken. So delicious."

"Great location near a beautiful park with great views of the ocean. Gorgeous decor and excellent food. Temperature was a bit warm as all windows and doors were open, but not too bad. The most obvious way to get into the restaurant is by the stairs in the front, but there is also an elevator in back. Plenty of parking. Reservations are definitely recommended."
