"Stopped for fuel because a family member needed the restroom. I had enough fuel to get to Hilo, but thought I would fill up since we were using the facitlities. She waited in front of the bathroom for 10 minutes, one of the doors had a sign on it saying it was closed and the other was locked, she assumed someone was in it, so waited and waited. I finished fueling and got in the vehicle and waited. Finally walked in and asked if we needed a key or was the person in there OK. She said "sorry, the bathrooms are both out of order", I was stunned. I was still parked in front of the pump, where I had just spent $66 of fuel into our Wrangler. Not sure where they go to the bathroom as employees. I understand not letting "non-customers" use the facilities, but I do not understand what happened yesterday. And, it was a desperate stop, the restrrom was badly needed. I am sure it is a great local stop, lots of people coming and going. But they didn't treat us very well."

"Used to be good but the quality and freshness of the food went down hill lately. I don't what happened. It's like all of a sudden they just gave up. Probably the worst Minit Stop location on the Big Island."
