"We reached out to Michelle at Poggenpohl and several other design professionals, contractors, and cabinet suppliers to provide help remodeling our kitchen. Michelle responded to our request for an initial meeting promptly, while most other firms never responded. At our initial meeting it was clear that Michelle knew her subject matter and was a top-tier professional in her industry. We presented her with the following reasons for kitchen remodel: 1. Appliances are aging (Refrigerator leaks and needs to be replaced) 2. Water damage 3. Lack of workspace 4. Sink is too small 5. Poor storage space; inconvenient, small, or large and inaccessible 6. Cramped work area (existing island is too close to appliances) 7. Very poor-quality cabinets and under cabinet lighting We than presented Michelle with our Project Objectives: 1. Beautiful long-lasting kitchen that is in harmony with Maui and the rest of home 2. Improve functionality and ease of use 3. Improve reliability 4. Improve entertainment seating and service area 5. Improve storage options Michelle worked with us to develop a kitchen design to deliver on all our objectives. She was also with us every step of the way during construction to ensure that unforeseen obstacles found during demolition did not interfere with the functionality or appearance of the final kitchen. She worked well with our contractor and subs to provide design clarifications and to address design modifications. Michelle provided excellent installation of our new cabinets. She also provided and installed top of the line Miele appliances to complete our perfect kitchen."
